Security settings

Controls what candidates can access on their device while taking this exam. Settings are resolved in order: Global defaults, then Hierarchy node overrides, then this exam. Fields locked at the hierarchy level take precedence for students under those nodes.
Hierarchy locks affect some students
This exam is assigned to 2 nodes with different lock profiles. All fields below remain editable. Values set here apply to students whose node path does not carry a Hard lock on that field.
Computer Science SIEM › Computer Science
Shuffle questions within sections Forced ON (locked by Computer Science)
Enable secondary display overlay Forced ON (locked by SIEM)
Overlay title Forced: "Secondary Display Blocked" (locked by SIEM)
Overlay message Forced: "This display is disabled..." (locked by SIEM)
ECE IEM › ECE
No Hard locks. Students under this node use the values set below.
Question order randomization
Shuffle questions within sections
Each candidate sees the same questions but in a different order within each section.
Shuffle section order
Randomize the sequence of sections themselves. Keep this off if sections have a deliberate progression (e.g. easy to hard).
Shuffle sub-parts within questions
For questions that have sub-parts, randomize the sub-part order per candidate.
Shuffle MCQ answer options
Randomize the order of answer choices for every MCQ question and MCQ sub-part. Scoring is unaffected.
Focus and termination
Terminate on tab switch
Ends the session if the candidate leaves the exam tab.
Warn before terminating
Shows one warning before the session ends.
How many times the candidate can lose window focus before the exam auto-terminates.
Display control

Prevents screen capture and remote viewing tools.
Force full screen
Exits the exam if full screen mode is left.
Enable secondary display overlay
When enabled, secondary monitors show a blocking overlay instead of preventing the exam from starting.
Network monitoring
CPU idle % below which VPN/proxy activity is suspected.
USB / devices
Block exam on unexpected USB device
Ends the session if an unrecognized HID device is plugged in.
Screenshot analysis
Confidence above which a screenshot is flagged as anomalous.
Read-only — must be pre-downloaded on client machines.
Face verification
Enable face verification
When disabled, all face detection and liveness checks are skipped for this exam.
Delay after exam start before the baseline face snapshot is taken.
Enable liveness check
Requires the candidate to show natural movement, not a static photo.
Motion score below this value fails the liveness check.
Read-only — must be pre-downloaded on client machines.
Process lockdown
How many times a blocked process is killed before the exam is terminated.
