Eclipse: The Lost Relics

An Action-Adventure Puzzle Game

Story Premise

In a world where time, space, and reality constantly shift, you play as an ancient, lost soul who wakes up in a land where the sun has disappeared, leaving everything in perpetual twilight. The world is divided into fragmented "Eclipse Zones," areas that are locked in a constant battle between light and darkness, created by the mysterious Eclipse Relics that govern the balance of the universe.

The protagonist, Tazrin, is a lost warrior whose memories were erased after an ancient ritual went wrong. As they embark on a journey to recover their memories and reclaim the lost Relics, they encounter factions, dangerous creatures, and remnants of the old world’s technology. Their ultimate mission: find the missing Relics, unlock their powers, and restore balance to the universe—before a shadowy force harnesses the Eclipse to unravel reality itself.

Key Features

1. Eclipse Zones

The game world is split into zones of perpetual twilight where the day-night cycle never completes. Each zone is affected by either light or dark forces, which change the rules of the environment.

  • Day Zones (Light): Lush forests, peaceful architecture, yet dangers of time alterations.
  • Night Zones (Dark): Full of horror and stealth, with dangerous creatures lurking in the darkness.
  • Twilight Zones: The unstable middle ground where light and dark forces collide, dynamically affecting gameplay.

2. Relic Powers and Manipulation

Each Relic represents a different power associated with time, space, or the elements. The player can collect and activate these Relics in different zones to gain powers that manipulate the world around them.

  • Time Relic (Chrono Prism): Manipulate time to solve puzzles and freeze enemies.
  • Space Relic (Void Orb): Teleport short distances, phase through walls, and alter the landscape.
  • Light Relic (Solstice Mirror): Repel darkness, heal allies, and project illusions.
  • Dark Relic (Nightshade Pendant): Absorb light to create shadow magic and summon creatures.

3. Shifting Reality and Physics-Based Puzzles

The environment constantly shifts based on Tazrin's actions. Activating a time relic might reverse the growth of trees to create paths or cause gravity to change. Players must balance light and dark energy to manipulate the environment.

4. Faction Rivalries and Choices

Players will encounter several factions with differing ideologies, each offering new quests and paths in the game.

  • The Shadowborn: Dark mages who want to disrupt the balance of the Eclipse Relics.
  • The Dawnkeepers: Guardians of the light Relics, seeking to restore the sun.
  • The Twilight Nomads: Seek to maintain the balance between light and dark.

5. Combat and Stealth

The game offers both intense combat and stealth mechanics. Fight using elemental powers and weapons or sneak past enemies in darker zones.

6. Exploration and Worldbuilding

Explore interconnected zones with dynamic weather, day-night cycles, and ancient ruins that reveal the history of the Eclipse Relics.

7. AI-Driven Companion

Aeris, an AI companion, guides you through the world and evolves as your relationship grows.

Visuals & Audio Design

The visuals feature a blend of dark gothic architecture and breathtaking landscapes. The sound design dynamically changes with light and dark forces, enhancing the atmosphere.
