Why we cut our sleeves the way we do.

Every NOOR pattern begins with a question most brands skip: what should this sleeve do? Not how it photographs, not what is trending - what it does. Does it stay put when you reach for a shelf. Does it cover what you want covered when you bend. Does it move like it is yours.

A dolman sleeve answers those questions differently than a set-in sleeve, and a bishop answers them differently again. We choose per piece, not per season, because your Tuesday is not a trend cycle.

What that means on the rack

It means the wrap dress ties where a waist actually is. It means the knit set drapes instead of clings because the ease was drafted in, not sized up. It means you will not find a “modest version” of anything here, because there is no other version.

None of this is complicated. It is just slower - one more fitting, one more adjustment, one more honest look in natural light before anything earns a place in the shop.
