Every brand says "modest". Here is what the word means at NOOR - measured, testable, and true of every piece we sell, not just the careful ones.
[Every number below is a placeholder until Jack sets the real line].
Measured on a real body, not a mannequin. If a neckline needs a camisole to behave, we redesign the neckline - we do not sell you the camisole problem.
Tested sitting down, because that is where hemlines tell the truth.
Not "most styles". Every one. A sleeveless NOOR piece does not exist.
Held up to a window before it is approved. The pale colors get the same test as the dark ones.
The other half of a standard.
No "modest-ish" capsule. We will not make a revealing line and call the rest of the catalog the modest one. The standard is the whole store.
No shrinking standards. If a standard ever changes, it changes toward more coverage, announced on this page - never quietly toward less.
No preaching. These are our standards for our clothes, not a verdict on anyone else's closet.
