Scrimmage Update, Friday, March 20, 2026
Hey Families,
Quick update heading into tomorrow. I just got some final details from the other coach last night and wanted to make sure everyone has the full picture before game day.
Saturday, March 21st, 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Location: Tehaleh Heights Elementary

We are going to start the scrimmage right at 1:00 PM. If your daughter is able to get there by 12:15 to 12:30, that would be great. We will use that time to do a game day warmup walkthrough and get the girls settled in before first pitch. No pressure though, if she gets there right at 1:00 or a little after, we will make it work.
We will be running kid pitch for at least the first 3 or 4 innings. Depending on how pitching goes early on, we may switch over to coach pitch toward the end to give the girls some extra at bats and different looks.
This is going to be a great opportunity for the girls to get real game reps in and work through everything before the season starts.
CHANGE FROM WHAT I SAID ON WEDNESDAY
I know I told everyone no game jerseys, but the other coach decided last night that both teams will be wearing game tops. So please DO wear your game jersey tomorrow.
Bottoms: Whatever they would like. Softball pants, sweats, leggings, etc. Just no black game pants, we are saving those for our first official game.
Something to keep in mind as we get into the season. Home teams are responsible for field setup before games, and away teams handle dragging and cleanup after. I will put together a sign up sheet in next weeks email for anyone who is able to get to games a little early or stay a little late to help out with the fields. If not, no worries at all. I do not mind handling it, but any help is always appreciated!
It is looking like I will pick the sweatshirts up after the scrimmage tomorrow and have them ready to hand out at our first game. If you still need to send payment, it is $25 per family. Venmo @DanielGrande88 or cash at practice.
