Machine is losing hydraulic pressure during boom operation. Bucket curl is slow and jerky. Customer also reports a visible oil leak near the main control valve. Machine was down for 2 days on site before being trailered in.

Assign to Tyler (lead tech) for full hydraulic system inspection. Focus on main control valve, pump pressure test, and boom/bucket cylinder seals. Check for contamination in hydraulic fluid. Machine will need to be pressure tested before any parts are ordered. Estimate 3-4 hrs inspection time.

Tech Findings & Inspection Notes
Confirmed hydraulic pressure loss on boom circuit. Main control valve spool worn - measured 18% pressure drop below spec. Found cracked O-ring on MCV port #3 - active leak confirmed, approx 500ml/hr loss. Hydraulic fluid sample pulled - moderate metal contamination present, recommend full flush and filter change. Boom rod seal weeping but not critical - can be done at same time. Left swing motor making intermittent noise at low RPM - may be bearing wear, recommend further investigation. All other systems functional.
