Who We Are

The Titans (#58993) are a FIRST® LEGO® League team based at Aptakisic Junior High School. Founded in 2023, we compete in the annual FLL Challenge, building autonomous robots, solving real-world problems through our Innovation Project, and living the FLL Core Values of Discovery, Innovation, Impact, Inclusion, and Teamwork.

Every season we push the limits of engineering, programming, and creativity while inspiring younger students in our community.

Outreach

Spreading STEM enthusiasm beyond our school walls.

Our Community Impact

The Titans believe robotics should be accessible to everyone. We run school demonstrations, host LEGO workshops for elementary students, and partner with local libraries and scout troops. Last season we reached over 300 kids through our outreach events.

Innovation Project

Solving real-world problems with creative solutions.

2025-2026 Project

This season our Innovation Project explores sustainable transportation for urban students. We researched traffic congestion and environmental impact, then designed a modular LEGO solution that integrates smart routing and eco-friendly materials. Our presentation includes a working prototype and a detailed research poster.

Core Idea: “Move Smart, Move Green” — a LEGO-based app concept using color sensors and Bluetooth to guide bikes and scooters safely.

Robot Design

Precision engineering meets creative programming.

TitanBot v3

Our competition robot features a robust chassis with four motorized wheels, a precision attachment system for mission models, and advanced color + gyro sensors. Programmed in Scratch and EV3-G, TitanBot can complete the full Robot Game table autonomously in under 2 minutes.

Hands-on learning for everyone.

What We Teach

The Titans host free monthly workshops covering LEGO building techniques, basic coding, sensor calibration, and robot strategy. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced builder, our sessions are designed to be fun and inclusive. Past topics include “How to Build a Perfect Chassis” and “Debugging in 5 Minutes.”
