Law mode: a class for results that need resits (bug L1)
Example student: passed 1st Year (65s), eight 75s in 2nd Year, eight 0s in 3rd Year. Under LSE's LLB 2024 rules, 3rd Year marks under 30 have to be resat, so there is no class yet. The page still says 2:1.
Now
1"Bruv, you got a 2:1". Wrong: with eight 0s in 3rd Year this student can't graduate yet, so there is no class. The red pill only mentions the class drop for fails.
2Eight 0s in 3rd Year, and nothing warns about them. LLB rules (paras 9 / 10.1): any 3rd Year mark under 30, or 3+ fails, must be resat.
3"2:1 secured. (…you need First-level marks)": wrong, and it contradicts itself (that's bug L7).
Proposed
1"Bruv, you need Resits". The pill says why ("3rd Year: marks under 30 have to be resat"), with one grey line under it: "Your class is worked out once you have passed them." The aggregate and counts stay.
2A red status line under the year that causes it ("8 marks under 30: resits needed"), like UCL already has.
3What You Need: "Pass your resits first. Your class is worked out after them." No more "secured".
When it would show
3rd Year: any mark under 30, or 3 or more fails → resits needed (paras 9, 10.1). 2nd Year: beyond the progression limits → can't go on to 3rd Year (paras 12, 13). 1st Year: not passed → "Can't progress" (para 2.2). The page already says this under 1st Year but still gives a class.
Anything else (e.g. 1–2 fails that are allowed) works as it does today.
Headline wording: pick one
Bruv, you need
Resits
A. Shown above. Clear, keeps the "Bruv" voice.
Bruv, you're on for a
2:1 after resits
B. More hopeful, but the final class depends on your resit marks, so it might not hold.
