The best part of my winter break was going to New York. This was my favorite part because I got to walk around the city and see many views. I also got to see my uncle and aunt and I haven't seen them in a while so it was nice. We walked around this island and I was able to see views of big buildings and the Statue Of Liberty far away. There were many shops everywhere and they were all old looking and had graffiti on them. We ate at my uncles apartment but there was also a lot of food trucks everywhere. We got to NY on a train and then we took the subway and walked everywhere because there arent many cars since everything is in a walkable distance. Overall this was the best part of my winter break.
Something that could have been improved was how much I stayed home. Other than a few days, every other day I was mostly at home the whole day. I wish I could have traveled more but I also had basketball practice everyday which is really important if I want to be able to play in the games. I could have maybe hung out with more of my friends from my other school since we haven't seen eachother in a while and we also couldve tried new places like parks and restaurants. Even though I didn't go to a lot of places break was still a nice and relaxing time away from school.
