Napoleon Dynamite is a quirky comedy about a socially awkward teenager in Idaho, who lives with his grandmother and even more awkward older brother, Kip. Napoleon has a multitude of daily struggles, from the the bullies at school to his creepy Uncle Rico and his grandmother's pet llama. Ultimately, life improves for Napoleon. He finds friendship, has a moment of fame, and a potential love interest. The movie shows that everyone has a chance to shine on their own terms.
The jokes are subtle.
The characters are insanely eccentric.
