Avatar: The Last Airbender, better known as ATLA among fans, is a Nickelodeon show that aired from 2005 through 2008. Although the show seems old now, many people still discuss and love it all the same, and the creators are continuing to work on keeping the series alive.
"Long ago the four nations (fire, air, water, earth) lived together in harmony. Then, everything changed when the fire nation attacked. Only the Avatar, master of all four elements could stop them. But when the world needed him most, he vanished. 100 years pass and the new Avatar is discovered by two water tribe siblings, an airbender named Aang. Although his airbender skills are great, he's got a lot to learn before he can become the new Avatar. But with time, Aang can save the world." (Excerpt from intro of the show)

This show has always been important to me. It's something my sisters grew up with, then I grew up with, and now my brother is growing up with it too. It's become a comfort show for me. From the storytelling, to the animation, to the character interactions, everything about it makes me so happy. The world of ATLA is something I always used to imagine myself in when I was younger. It means a lot to me, and I think it always will. I highly recommend it, it's for all ages, and it has a really beautiful way of worldbuilding.
